It is extremely rare for me to leave a review, whether good or bad. But the customer service I received a few weeks ago made me take the time. My son’s wedding was a week out when my daughter in law called to say her mom could not find the correct sized chocolate for the wedding favors and was in a panic. Could I help? They needed 3 cm squares for the stickers she made and she was in another country and couldn’t find anything. Not even custom made. So after days of calling local chocolate shops and searching all the local stores I found some on Astor’s website on Friday that were perfect. However I needed them by Tuesday as we were leaving for the wedding that night. On Friday night I sent email asking if this was even possible and I actually got an immediate AI reply that answered my questions. So I crossed my fingers and placed the order Friday night and paid an extra $46 to have them delivered overnight on Monday as they don’t ship weekends. Well on Sunday night I got a message from Anne that she saw I placed the order overnight but since I live in New York and they are in NJ that they would arrive Tuesday with standard shipping (which was free!) so she credited me the $46 shipping charge! If you’ve ever helped pay for a wedding you know that in the weeks prior you feel like you are hemorrhaging money as there are MANY unexpected costs (like needing 250 3 cm chocolates!)
